Surprisingly good breakfast (fresh biscuits, eggs, and sausage) for a moderately priced room. Nice refurbished room and great location for Expo Center or race track. Also close to Max transit to get to downtown or the rest of Portland.
Despite the fact, that major decorating was going on, it was a comfortable stay. Resonable value for money.
Their continental breakfast has good selection.
The area of location has many homeless people.
Good location and friendly staff.
We didn't like that there was renovation going on and we were not advised about it prior to booking. The hotel should have been more upfront with us and offered a discount.
The room was clean and tidy, the shower was hot and the staff friendly, can't ask for more than that.
They are going through renovations and we stayed in the new part that was still being renovated, It would have been nice that they blocked off the area that was still under construction.
Awkward to get to as too far away from downtown when driving
Lack of cleaning staff meant we came back at 5:45 pm and our room wasn't cleaned yet. Five women to clean 245 rooms! Light over sink was not working; despite complaint, it was never fixed in our four days. Place is shabby; being remodeled. Noisy.
polite employees, cleanliness in the rooms, the remodeling going on for future customers, and breakfast, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, coffee, cereals.
The ice machine was out of order. On a Friday it took us one hour to the hotel from a two block distance. We were very frustrated. The first morning there was lots of water running through the bathroom's light on the ceiling. we reported it and the employee told us that it happens once in a while. This is a dangerous matter. Electricity and water equals electrocution.. We were given a different room and a discount. The bushes in the parking lot needed trimming. Some branches overhung on parking spaces which could not be used. I did not like the eggs benedict, not healthy.
Location was perfect. The room was cute. Maybe once construction is done it will be worth returning to. Until then, not a chance in hell as vomiting from the fumes every day was not worth it.
Under construction, mess everywhere and chemical smell was so overwhelming it made me sick. Floor and hallway uneven and weak in areas, was not a safe feeling. Bed was awful, springs in my back. Tub didn't drain.
overall cleanliness and location of hotel bar and restaurant in close proximity coffee served during the day
no coffee on at night staff didn't have my booking on their system when I checked in
Robert on the front desk was simply amazing, friendly and helpful. Wifi is free and fast. The property is conveniently located near the MAX transit train, a Walmart, and good restaurants. The price is reasonable.
The breakfast room is extremely tiny. Our room was grungy and the bed was very uncomfortable. Bathroom is very cramped. The two chairs in our room were terribly stained and very uncomfortable. They need to be thrown out.
The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Convenient to I5 highway and near Airport. Not in a walking friendly neighborhood.
Location is next to a gas station and attached Convenient store. Parking lot is small and spaces are taken by semis-truck cabs parked. Hotel is being partially renovated now.
The smell of the room was terrible!!!!
Clean room and breakfast hot and ready with friendly staff.
Breakfast is awesome, lots of choices. 24hour availability of free hot beverages is a big plus. Friendly and accomodating staff!
They're renovating during our stay so there's a little bit of "not so good" smell at the hallway and in our room the moment you come in. But a good spray of my cologne did some wonders so it's not really a big deal. On the bright side, renovating is a good thing.
